PEACE IS THE PRIZE™

Peace is the Prize

Peace is the Prize

In the days following the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the media coverage showing the horrors of the largest war on the European continent since World War 2, several business people came together as WPSSD Ltd. to assess how we could help relieve in some way the pain, suffering, anguish and fear affecting children in Ukraine and across Europe and the U.K. Our conclusion was to help empower children through sport, utilising the values of PEACE, KINDNESS & RECONCILIATION. We asked our contacts from education, youth organisations, sports clubs, academies and their communities to hold events on World Peace Day, September 21st 2022, with all funds raised going to help Ukrainian families flee the warzone.

We had ZERO BUDGET & ZERO SPONSORSHIP, and only TEN WEEKS TO PREPARE

On the day we had 28 countries around the world involved, including five from Africa, and two from the Middle East. We were guest speakers for a whole day at the three day International Festival of Peace in Toronto.

Due to the success of WPSSD (World Peace School's Sports Day) 2022, some of its directors established "The Auxilium Society CIC." This new organisation has a broader scope for helping charitable causes and driving significant positive social impact. One of these is the launch of "Peace Is The Prize" events, this is an umbrella branding for partners/stakeholders to run their own events/activities on or around the 21st September which is the UN designated 'World Day of Peace.'

#PeaceIsThePrize 2023 is asking individuals, organisations and charities to hold events of any kind, to raise funds to promote peace in all our communities, whatever the reason for disruption or conflict, with all funds raised going to the causes identified.

If you would like to know more about who we are and what we do, look at our new platform,
www.tapinto.me, which is the gateway to all our companies, both our CICs’, services, opportunities and projects.

“Peace starts around the breakfast table, we must take it into our communities, and out to the world. There can be no room for hate. #PeaceIsThePrize, it takes commitment and determination. We must unite, to become role models and create the changes we want to see in the world.”
